Welcome to Kagiyama-class Amateur Translations! I am Ryuuhou Kagiyama, and I do Japanese to English translations in my spare time. I started off with my YouTube channel where I do translations for Touhou and KanColle doujin music and animations. Some of favorite circles are Pizuya’s Cell, CROWS’CLAW, Shibayan Records, and Floating Cloud.

I like to watching music and animations.
I am also studying translation and I would like to ask you
how you study English espcially translation of song.
It is so difficult to choose suitable word.
Could you give me a advice?

Hello there, Kagiyama-san!
I am a native English speaker, so it is easy for me to choose appropriate words in English.
But, I often have trouble writing Japanese words.
For Japanese, I look up sentences instead of words to see what seems natural.
I suggest looking for common English phrases on websites like weblio or jisho.
Translations seem more natural using common expressions.
