• Hubert is quite awe-struck from seeing the Titanus.
• After releasing both levers, Edelgard says their ONLY target is Cornelia.
• Felix explains he doesn’t need to talk to Byleth because swordsmen talk with their blades.
• Ingrid does not attempt to defend herself when enemy Felix calls her out as being unknightly.
• Enemy Ingrid calls Byleth a dog and a tool.
• Felix accepts he did something wrong when facing enemy Ingrid.
• Enemy Ingrid is less direct about killing Sylvain, saying she will make him go through a painful learning experience.
• Cornelia said TWSITD fell for Edelgard’s master plan, not that Edelgard fell into theirs.
• Petra uses an old Chinese proverb: “two enemies cannot live under the same sky together”.

• Ailell is the valley of purgatory, not torment.
• The Empire is specifically surveying Garreg Mach, not guarding it.
• Alois doesn’t mention his promise to protect Byleth.
• Seteth calls Rhea’s emotions so strong, that he thinks they must be bad karma.
• What Rhea wants to do to Byleth sounds more intense.
• Edelgard tells Hubert to spread the news that they were victorious.

卓上の鬼神　Demon of the Tabletop^[1]Tabletop is used in many contexts to refer to theory.  Together, they mean something like a fearsome master of theorycraft.

Summary of changes:

• The reason the pro-Imperial and anti-Imperial factions have the same strength is because Claude manipulated them to be.
• Rather than entering/leaving Derdriu being difficult, there was a large volume of people entering and leaving.
• Marianne tries to justify herself to Hilda.
• Claude claims he was joking about wishing that Byleth picked him.
• Claude maintains a cocky attitude when he loses.
• Claude wouldn’t mind joining Byleth and Edelgard if he didn’t have other plans.
• Edelgard didn’t say the Empire would join the Alliance without conflict if she lost.  She says the Alliance would have crushed the Empire with an uninjured army if she died at Derdriu.
• Another removed Petra grammar joke.

• Edelgard feels specifically frustration/regret, rather than guilt.
• Dorothea seeing Byleth gives her the will to live again.
• Ferdinand talks about wishing Byleth was there everyday, rather than certainty that Byleth was alive everyday.
• Judith’s nickname is translated as “Heroine”, or literally “Fierce Lady”.
• Acheron uses a cutesy boy honorific for himself.
• Ignatz is not as harsh to Raphael when they fight.
• Ignatz calls himself useless when he dies.
• Acheron, like other villians, had his mannerisms reduced.
• Ferdinand quoting Edelgard was about “an extra push”, not Byleth in particular.

孤月の節　Lone Moon Moon^[1]Translating 節 as “moon” makes this translation sound awful.  節 actually does not literally mean moon, but interval of time (in this case, dividing the year).
Since months are based on the moon, “moon” was probably the best translation available.
争覇の幕開け　The Opening Act of Conquest

Summary of changes:

• Rhea’s initial reaction is surprise, rather than indignation.
• Caspar only followed after Edelgard by accident.
• Caspar comforts Bernadetta by comparing her situation with Ferdinand’s much crappier situation.
• Hubert says he doesn’t care about reasons for fighting only on this occasion.
• Edelgard doesn’t just talk about her experience, but the experience of all noble children in the Empire.
• Hubert talks about Byleth’s importance in the students joining, not in some future role.
• Edelgard makes it clearer that the purpose of the conversation is to get Byleth’s approval.
• Edelgard says she can get some Kingdom and Alliance nobles to cooperate, rather than them offering their support.
• Hubert saying he overstepped was 100% sarcastic.
• The Black Eagle Strike Force is pronounced “Schwarz Adler Wehr”.
• Byleth pisses off Edelgard by saying she’s trying too hard to be cool.
• Gilbert asks Annette for forgiveness, not the Goddess.
• Rhea makes it sounds less like Cyril died in this battle.

• Jeralt was already onto the idea that the Demonic Beasts were the students.
• Monika’s persona is just a cutesy schoolgirl and is not as intensely degrading towards Jeralt.
• Jeralt calls your tears a parting gift, which is why he thanks you.
• Sothis is much more supportive of the idea that Jeralt’s death was not fate.
• Byleth explicitly swears to take revenge by killing Jeralt’s killer.
• Jeralt describes Rhea’s condition as panic when hearing baby Byleth was dead.
• The second response to Alois in Jeralt’s room was changed drastically.
