• The villager that finds Byleth has a regional dialect.
• The villager tries to give Byleth advice, not say he won’t speak bad about him.
• Edelgard straight up denies whatever option you choose.
• Seteth thought Byleth was dead for five years.  Byleth’s response is to explain everything, rather than “I was sleeping”.
• Seteth says the Church has had opportunities to strike back against the Empire, not that the chance to strike back is near.
• Seteth tells Byleth he will tell them the truth someday personally.
• Caspar has an extra line that didn’t translated. He asks why everyone’s gathered up at the town.
• Pallardó explicitly tells us the first Pallardó you kill was a substitute look-alike.
• There are more human trafficking vibes when fighting Pallardó.
• Caspar doesn’t mention the reason he’s surprised Linhardt showed up.
• Flayn is more suspicious when telling you the reason she is in the Holy Mausoleum.

Summary of changes:

• Ferdinand doesn’t specifically say to strike down Edelgard, but the misdeeds of her and her followers.
• Seteth is more panicked when finding out they only have two weeks to prepare.
• The Progenitor God translates to God-Ancestor, which makes the connection a little more obvious.  On top of that, Rhea subtly mentions they are related in a way to this divine ancestor.
• Seteth is more shocked about Rhea’s taboo and even states the reason for not helping Byleth is that it would be akin to committing a taboo himself.
• Linhardt jokes about them not being run away, not Edelgard getting away with what she is doing.  This uncomfortable moment is what draws the “unwanted glaring”.
• Catherine is less sentimental when Byleth accepts command of the students.
• Seteth wishes his army the best of luck, rather than telling them to hold fast for reinforcements.
• Manuela tells her enemy to remember her because she holds deep grudges.
• Randolph doesn’t randomly curse Caspar.
• Hubert is more sinister when telling you how your army doesn’t stand a chance of winning, and laughs like a villain when mentioning what might happen to your loved ones in the Empire.

• The first event title is used repeatedly during the event very passive-aggressively by both Arundel and Edelgard.
• Edelgard confesses that she doubted Byleth, even while relying on them.
• Catherine never says anything to oppose Rhea.
• Catherine asks a different question to Rhea after setting the city on fire.
• Hubert’s reason for surviving the battle is reveals how little confidence in others.
• Catherine’s lines are more dramatic.

• The second mention was removed in the English version for some reason.
• Sylvain tells his troops to be ready to sacrifice themselves to get revenge.
• Dedue explains that the soldiers asked for the crest stones.
• Rhea doesn’t say explicitly say she wants to restore balance, just to take something back.
• Dedue asks Dimitri to fulfill their greatest desire of revenge, not that he will avenge them himself.
• Dedue’s final words before turning into a demonic beast were subdued.
• Dimitri specifies that a future built on corpses and tears can’t be good.
• Dimitri doesn’t say Felix killed his father, just that he let him die.
• Felix’s lines to Dimitri are filled with more detail and remorse.
• Sylvain is less cold to male Byleth.
• Ingrid is less cold to Sylvain.
• Ingrid is disgusted that Sylvain is hitting on her even in his final moments.
• Sylvain curses at himself when he dies.
• Before Sylvain dies, he says he’s finally going see Felix and Ingrid again.

• Ferdinand chastises Caspar for using improper wording, not being a savage.
• Linhardt makes a dirty joke.  Petra doesn’t get it and Dorothea tells him to watch his phrasing.
• Hubert is quite awe-struck from seeing the Titanus.
• After releasing both levers, Edelgard says their ONLY target is Cornelia.
• Felix explains he doesn’t need to talk to Byleth because swordsmen talk with their blades.
• Ingrid does not attempt to defend herself when enemy Felix calls her out as being unknightly.
• Enemy Ingrid calls Byleth a dog and a tool.
• Felix accepts he did something wrong when facing enemy Ingrid.
• Enemy Ingrid is less direct about killing Sylvain, saying she will make him go through a painful learning experience.
• Cornelia said TWSITD fell for Edelgard’s master plan, not that Edelgard fell into theirs.
• Petra uses an old Chinese proverb: “two enemies cannot live under the same sky together”.
• Ferdinand chastises Linhardt for still thinking about crests instead of the war, not for being negative.

• Hubert does not say Rodrigue may of seized Arianrhod, but rather that Rodrigue may have grasped that Count Rowe is helping the Empire.
• Byleth’s second choice about Edelgard’s screaming is different.  Choosing option 1, then option 2 in the localization reads weirdly.
• Ailell is the valley of purgatory, not torment.
• The Empire is specifically surveying Garreg Mach, not guarding it.
• Alois doesn’t mention his promise to protect Byleth.
• Seteth calls Rhea’s emotions so strong, that he thinks they must be bad karma.
• What Rhea wants to do to Byleth sounds more intense.
• Edelgard tells Hubert to spread the news that they were victorious.

卓上の鬼神　Demon of the Tabletop^[1]Tabletop is used in many contexts to refer to theory.  Together, they mean something like a fearsome master of theorycraft.

Summary of changes:

• The reason the pro-Imperial and anti-Imperial factions have the same strength is because Claude manipulated them to be.
• Rather than entering/leaving Derdriu being difficult, there was a large volume of people entering and leaving.
• Marianne tries to justify herself to Hilda.
• Claude claims he was joking about wishing that Byleth picked him.
• Claude maintains a cocky attitude when he loses.
• Claude wouldn’t mind joining Byleth and Edelgard if he didn’t have other plans.
• Edelgard didn’t say the Empire would join the Alliance without conflict if she lost.  She says the Alliance would have crushed the Empire with an uninjured army if she died at Derdriu.
• Another removed Petra grammar joke.
